6
I have no reason to think that another expansion would
be accomilished with any more regard for the rights and prop-
erty va;luo:;, or even the basic human feelings of other people
than has been displayed in the pact.
Our house w;,.;; appraised
of Minneapolis. They tell us
recently by the Thorpe Realty Co.
that when the remaining repairs
are co.rpietcd, the value will be e proximately ';.x!5,000 dollars.
If the trailer pnrk moves in to within 30 feet of us on the
south, that value will diminish greatly.
We feel we have a right to expect the Planning Commission
of Little Canada to honor the statements made at the hearing
in 1972. We took your word, in good faith, and acted upon it.
If you go back on it now you will literally ruin us. Every
hope we now have for the future rests in this house. If the
park is allowed to expand again, they will gain the income from
13 or so more trailers. We will lose most of the value of our
home, and all of our work, expense, and trouble will have gone
for nothing. The trailer park will grow richer -- again - -and we
we will grow poorer--again.
Yours truly,
✓
✓ Eleanor A. Rydel
Page -14-
