3. Construction Plans: Construction plans shall include detailed <br />working drawings with sufficient sections, elevations and <br />structural details to enable a prospective Contractor to quote <br />or bid a firm price on the work without additional engineering. <br />4 Construction Specifications: Specifications shall be of <br />sufficient scope to enable a prospective Contractor to quote <br />or bid a firm price based on a set standard of quality, per- <br />formance and procedure. <br />B. BASIC FEE SCHEDULE <br />The percentage rates shown below shall be considered full com- <br />pensation for the Basic Services outlined above, for assisting <br />in the taking and tabulating of bids and for reviewing the bids <br />and submitting a recommendation regarding award (See Section II, <br />Paragraph H on Rebidding): <br />a. Less than $20,000.00 per diem rates <br />b. 20,000.00 to 50,000.00 8.5% <br />c. 50,000.00 to 100,000.00 8.0% <br />d. 100,000.00 to 200,000.00 7.5% <br />e. 200,000.00 to 500,000.00 7.0% <br />f. 500,000.00 to 1,000,000.00 6.0% <br />g. 1,000,000.00 and over 5.5% <br />The percentage rates apply to the lowest responsible bid unless <br />a portion of the work on which Engineering Services were performed <br />is deleted by the Owner prior to the taking of bids. If the <br />latter occurs, the percentage rates shall apply to the low bid <br />and the Engineers shall receive additional compensation for <br />services performed on the deleted portion of the work based on <br />-2- <br />
