Minutes <br />City Council <br />(Cont'd.) <br />October 11, 1978 <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolutionappears in Resolution Book No. 4, Page 290. <br />(See Clerk's Attachment No. 230 - Preliminary Plat Servais Shores <br />2nd Addition, Clerk's Attachment No. 231 - Letter,from Engineer.) <br />Vitale Theresa Vitale appeared before the Council requesting a rear yard <br />Rear Yard set back variance for a proposed garage to be built at 1170 Allen <br />Set Back Avenue. <br />Variance <br />Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -361 - APPROVING THE REAR YARD <br />SET BACK VARIANCE FOR PROPOSED GARAGE ON THE ROBERT <br />VITALE PROPERTY AT 1t70 ALLEN AVENUE WITH STIPULATION <br />THAT GARAGE DOOR FACES NORTH <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Messrs. DeBace, Hanson, Valento, Nadeau and Jespersen. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />this resolution appears in Resolution Book 4, Pages 290 and 291. <br />Ordinance Council members mentioned that Little Canada's ordinance governing <br />Governing set backs is out of date and should be brought into conformity with <br />Set Backs neighboring communities. The Attorney had anticipated this and <br />submitted to the Council a proposed ordinance up- dating Little <br />Canada's set back requirements. Council felt that the planner, <br />Planning Commission and building inspector should look over the <br />proposed ordinance and make their comments and /or recommendations <br />to the Council. <br />R & S Auto <br />Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78 -10 -362 - REFERRING THE PROPOSED <br />ORDINANCE GOVERNING SET BACKS TO THE PLANNER, PLANNING <br />COMMISSION, AND BUILDING INSPECTOR AND RETURNING SAID <br />ORDINANCE TO THE COUNCIL WITH RECOMMENDATIONS AND <br />COMMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br />Ayes (5) Messrs. Hanson, Nadeau, Jespersen, Valento and DeBace. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 4, Page 291. <br />i <br />Mr. Louis Rustad appeared before the Council requesting approval <br />of the construction of a pole building. The concept has the <br />approval of the Planning Commission. The final plans for the <br />proposed pole building were not yet ready. Mr. Rustad intends to <br />use the building for storage purposes. <br />Page -2- <br />
