MINUTES OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PUBLIC MEETING
LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
July 19, 1978
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting was held on the
19th day of July, 1978 at Kellogg High School, Little Canada, Minnesota to
review and receive comments pertaining to the Little Canada Comprehensive
Plan.
City Council Members Present:
Planning Commission Members Present:
Also Present:
Mayor
Councilman
City Clerk
Re
Midwest
Planning &
Research
Mr. Donald Valento
Mr. Robert De Bace
Mrs. Virginia Fisher
Mr. Mike Fahey
Mr. Dick Boss
Mr. Ralph Nardini
Mr. Gene DeLonais
Mr. Earl Rossey
Mr. Joseph Chlebeck
Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer
Mr. Licht
Mr. Licht, Midwest Planning & Research, began to go through his presentation
of the Little Canada Comprehensive Plan.
Citizens at the meeting were concerned, however, the most of them had received
notices of the the meeting that same day; and therefore, could not get an
adequate turnout for the meeting. The poor turnout would not enable the Council
to get the true feeling for the views of the citizens in Planning Districts
11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. Citizens asked that the meeting be postponed
and rescheduled, with new notices sent out in a more timely manner.
Mayor Valento agreed with the citizens and postponed the meeting. The meeting
was then rescheduled for August 16, at Kellogg High School at 7 :30 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen Glanzer
Recording Secretary
