Berglund
ccc•• Centennial Contractors Corp.
e€: City of Little Canada
Joe Chlebeck
De& Joe:
Here is the copy of the letter I sent to the Claim Service and
to the Home Insurance Company regarding Mr. Dole. I am also enclosing
herewith the wording for the final notice before shut -off which I read
to the meeting on Wednesday night. You may not wish to adopt this exact
language but it might be helpful to you to have the notice as I read it.
It goes as follows:
FINAL NOTICE BEFORE SHUT -OFF
This is your final notice before your water service will be shut
off for non - payment of your waterbill. If you have a bona fide
reason for failing to pay your bill, you are entitled to request
a hearing before theCity Council for a determination prior to
shut off. You must make such request for a hearing at the office
of the City Clerk within ten days of the date of this notice.
Another matter came up at the Council meeting Wednesday night that I
would like to talk to you about. There was a Johnson Brother Construction
Company matter involving damaged drain tile at 2995 Vanderbee. Would you
please dig up the facts on this and let me know what it involves so that
I can write a letter on that claim also.
Yours very truly,
Clayton
ph
'-J 6
