Snelling Avenue Roseville, Minnesota 55113 612 — 636 -2631 "Providing Counselling to Youth and their Families who reside in Northwest Suburban Ramsey County" December 1, 1978 DEAR CITY MANAGER: Please extend our gratitude to the Council for their decision to provide joint funding for the Bureau in 1979. Enclosed is a copy of the original Joint Powers Agreement. I would request that the Agreement be re- endorsed with the following amendment. The Extension provision provided for in paragraph 7 of the Agreement states that such extensions by the signatories are to be made on or before June 30. Because of the process involved in municipality financial planning, it would seem more appropriate to change the date to November 30. Mr. Andre has provided me with the drafts he plans to present to the Roseville City Council for their enactment. Perhaps they will be of value to you when this matter is presented to your council. Also included is a copy of our 1979 grant which serves as our contract with the City of Roseville (provision 1 of the Agreement). Although that grant is only written for the first six months of 1979, it is our understanding that the grant will continue to serve as our contractual agreement beyond that period of time.
