MINNESOTA <br />SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICTS <br />RAMSEY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />M,d.Amr∎ <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN <br />City of Little Canada <br />and <br />RAMSEY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />This agreement entered into this day of , 19 , by <br />and between the Ramsey Soil and Water Conservation District, hereinafter <br />referred to as "District ", and City of Little Canada, hereinafter referred <br />to as City, provides for cooperation between these two governmental <br />bodies in decisions affecting the soil and water resources of the City . <br />Whereas: <br />a. Soil and water are essential for life. <br />b. The sustained use of soil and water resources is dependent <br />upon their wise use and conservation. <br />c. The District, pursuant to its public mission, has the <br />technical capability to provide soil, water, and related <br />resource data for input into land and water use decisions. <br />d. The City , pursuant to its public mission, is involved in <br />decisions affecting the use of land and water resources. <br />It is therefore agreed: <br />1. The District will, upon written request, provide the City <br />with reviews of proposed plats and development plans. The <br />City will provide 4 copies of proposed plats and develop- <br />ment plans to the District, along with a written request <br />for a review of the plans. The District will review the <br />development plans and submit written comments to the City <br />within a reasonable period of time. <br />2. The District will provide, upon written request, resource <br />inventories which will be utilized by the City in reviewing <br />proposed development plans and for developing comprehensive <br />community development plans. <br />3. The District will, upon written request, assist in an <br />advisory capacity with the formulation of comprehensive <br />community development plans. <br />AN EQUAL CP ^ORTUNITY E•,'PLCYER <br />
