MINN. 55119 <br />Minutes of the regular seating. <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />June 5, 1975 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada <br />was held on the 5th day.sf -June, 1975 at 8:00 P.M. at 515 Little Canada Road <br />in said City. <br />The following members mere present; Virginia Fisher, Eugene DeLonais, Peter Costa, <br />Earl Rosses, Margret Mitchell, Jack Radford, Dennis Ryan, Eugene Fasciana, <br />Richard Boss III, Ralph Nardini. <br />The following members were absent: Ronald Blomgnist <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were approved. <br />RAUENHORST: 3 "' square foot building on Interstate and Spruce Street. <br />PROPOSED BLDG. Reynolds Aluminum for recyling center, mostly beer cans and <br />BOB WARTHINGTON alumina. Spruce street does not extend down to the <br />building. If approved for extension of Spruce, occupancy <br />by October. Would be located south of McKesson Robbins. <br />Steve Helfer: Trucks and semi trailers with d hammer mill. <br />iel bring <br />. e <br />scrap in. It is a pulverising project <br />No. outside storage, all inside. <br />The building would be leased to Reynolds for 15000 sq feet <br />with the rest leased. <br />Question by Virginia Fisher - Noise involved in recycling <br />and what other types of business would be leased out in <br />extra apace. <br />Answer: - No noise and city would have no voice in type of <br />other rental units. <br />Building precast wall panels. The southeast corner might <br />require piling. Sprinkler system. <br />Building 300 ft long and 120 ft. wide., elevation of <br />building is 21 feet. Set backs are according to city <br />code, also landscaped and black tipped parking. <br />Motion made by Jack Radford to accept the plan as presented. <br />Seconeded by Ralph Nardini. <br />Carried. e GENE DISCUSSION Task FFoairCce i <br />GENE FASCLANA <br />25 mile square area surrounding Maplewood Mall on June 4. <br />At the meeting, it was mentioned that Little Canada was <br />not concerned or interested, <br />Why should Maplewood Mall be the center of this Proposal2 <br />The new road plans will effect many of our local residents <br />and disrupt the traffic pattern in our city. <br />Recommend to the Council that they look into the matter <br />and appoint members of the Planning Commission and the <br />Council to attend the meetings. <br />We are interested. <br />• <br />53 <br />
