MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2006 <br />MINNESOTA <br />AVENUE - Blesener noted that a Comprehensive Sign Plan is required for multi- <br />LITTLE tenant buildings. The City Planner replied Chat that is correcC. The <br />CANADA Planner also noted that the sign plan proposed is in compliance with <br />MALL the City's sign ordinance and architectural guidelines, and is actually <br />under the maximum amount of signage allowed for the building. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-2-38 -APPROVING THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR THE LITTLE CANADA MALL <br />AT 78-82 MINNESOTA STREET AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROPERTY Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the Property Division, <br />DIVISION, Lot Combination, and Rezoning from Public to Planned Unit <br />LOT Development of the City's booster station property at 141 County <br />COMBINATION, Road B. It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended <br />REZONING - approval as proposed. <br />141 COUNTY <br />ROAD B The City Administrator reported thaC the Property Division, Lot <br />Combination, and Rezoning are being proposed in order to transfer a <br />portion of the City's booster station property to St. Jude Medical. The <br />Administrator reported ChaC SC. Jude Medical would uCilize the property for <br />storm water ponding as well as a portion for additional parking at the time <br />that a third addition is put on their facility. The Administrator indicated <br />Chat the proposal is Co transfer the property to St. Jude rather than sell it to <br />them. St. Jude would pay related costs for transfer costs. The <br />Administrator noted that St. Jude currently has a major addition underway <br />at this site withouC any City financial assistance. He noted that St. Jude <br />has been a good corporate ciCizen, and felt that the transfer of the property <br />makes sense. <br />Blesener asked if the remaining booster station property would meet <br />zoning requirements. The City Planner indicated that there are no <br />minimum lot size requirements for the Public Zoning District. <br />
