PLANNING COMMISSION <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />440 LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />57, <br />PAUL, MINN. 55117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission — City of Little Canada <br />April 1, 1976 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada was held on the 1st day of April, 1976 at 8:00 P.M. at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members were present: Joseph Vitale Jr., Virginia Fisher, <br />Peter Costa, Ralph Nardini, Margret Mitchell, Earl Rossez, Eugene <br />DeLonais, Jack Radford, and Eugene Fasciana. <br />The following members were absent: Richard Boss III, Dennis Ryan. <br />Minutes of the March 4th meeting were approved. <br />Joseph Vitale Jr. was intruduced as the new member of the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Joseph Chlebeck spoke on the Roseville Ordinance(Business Districts) <br />Joseph Chlebedk and Peter Costa met with Roseville Planning Commission <br />on Wednesday, March 31, 1976. <br />The Roseville Ordinance states that all restrauants are 5000 sq. ft. <br />in area. <br />The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council <br />review the Business Ordinance of Roseville pertaining to <br />the fast food restraurant and that Little Canada adopt one <br />similar to it with further study. <br />MIDWEST Lawrence Nadeau property on South Owasso Blvd. <br />SPRING CO.Henry Muelhlhausen President. <br />The property is zoned light industrial.. Springs are pre <br />hardened wire. No polution problems and no plating. <br />The present building site is 906 North Dale, but the City <br />of St. Paul is widening Dale. The Spring Company serves <br />both St. Paul and Minneapolis. At present there are seven <br />plants and the home plant is in St. Paul. <br />The building is not designed as yet but will be masonry <br />construction. The building will be facing South Owasso Blvd. <br />The James Lick Company will be the contractor. There are <br />33 parking spaces and there will be two shifts. <br />Motion made by Jack Radford to accept the proposed plot plan <br />as presented. <br />Seconded by: Eugene DeLonais <br />Carried, <br />(Midwest Spring will he back in May with final plans and a <br />landscaping plan.) <br />
