MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 27, 2013 Montour asked Jaede if he would like action delayed on his request pending further study by the City. Jaede stated that he would like the Council to take action on the Conditional Use Permit, but indicated he could wait a couple of weeks on the Variance pending the study being discussed. The City Administrator did not feel the study would take long. Once the results are reviewed by the Council, they could determine whether or not they are interested in starting the process to change the Code. The City Planner indicated that he could have the study ready for the next Council meeting. Montour indicated that, if necessary, Jaede would have to agree to extend the 60 -day review period. Jaede indicated he was agreeable to such an extension. There was no one else present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Keis, seconded by Boss, the public hearing was closed. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -3 -45 — APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ALLOWING TOTAL GARAGE SPACE OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET FOR 790 LABORE ROAD SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN HIS REPORT DATED MARCH 8, 2013 AND SUBJECT TO ANY POSSIBLE FUTURE AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY CODE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -3 -46 — TABLING ACTION ON THE VARIANCE REQUEST TO ALLOW TOTAL GARAGE SPACE OVER 1,500 SQUARE FEET REQUESTED BY CHRISTOPHER JAEDE FOR PROPERTY AT 790 LABORE ROAD UNTIL THE APRIL 24, 2013 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AT 7:30 P.M. AND REQUESTING THAT CITY STAFF RESEARCH GARAGE SIZE STANDARDS IN USE BY OTHER CITIES AND PREPARE A 7
