MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 27, 2013 <br />Montour asked if Yang would lease or own the building. Yang reported <br />that they would be leasing a portion of the building. She described the <br />location of the space within the building, and it was noted that there is on- <br />site parking on the Little Canada Road side as well as the west side of the <br />building. <br />Michael Schneider noted that there is a lot of traffic on Little Canada Road <br />and suggested that the City consider lowering the speed limit. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Boss, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -3 -47 — APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PERMIT TO ALLOW THE OPERATION OF <br />AN ADULT DAY CARE SERVICE CENTER AT 80 LITTLE CANADA <br />ROAD, GRACE ADULT DAY CARE, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS <br />OUTLINED IN HIS MARCH 8, 2013 REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VACATION Montour opened the Public Hearing to consider the vacation of the <br />OF ROAD the following road easement: <br />EASEMENT — The East thirty -three (E 33) feet of that part of the West <br />PINETREE one -half (W %) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ''A) of the <br />POND Northwest Quarter (NW '/) of Section 4, Town 29, Range 22 lying <br />Northerly of LaBore Road, according to the plat thereof on file and <br />of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey <br />County. <br />The City Administrator began with a detailed review of his March 22, <br />2013 report. He noted that the road easement in question was dedicated <br />by Harriet Brown in 1968, who was the owner of the property currently <br />known as 2966 Arcade Street. That property is included in the proposed <br />plat of Pinetree Pond. The Administrator noted that in considering the <br />proposed Pinetree Pond plat and this vacation, there are a number of <br />9 <br />
