MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 11, 2013 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 1 lth day of <br />April, 2013 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Ms. Jennifer Maleitzke <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />Ms. Vanessa VanAlstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The March 14, 2013 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />CUP - <br />3164 RYAN <br />LAND — <br />LEE ROSSOW <br />Lee Rossow, owner of 3164 Ryan Lane, appeared before the Commission <br />requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow Major Auto <br />Repair, Over-The-Road Trucking, Body Shop, Towing and Impound, and <br />Outdoor Storage including three storage containers. Rossow reported that <br />he has owned the property for the past 25 years and had operated his bus <br />company from this property. Rossow provided a history of the use of the <br />property since he owned it which included his busing company, another <br />busing company - Minnehaha Transportation, Napier Auto Repair, Auto <br />Rescue Towing, Quality Construction -Q3 for interim outdoor storage, <br />Jerry's Towing, and now Balta's Towing which includes auto repair. <br />Rossow reported that this is the fourth time he has come to the City for a <br />Conditional Use Permit and stated that he would like all the businesses <br />uses mentioned above as part of the CUP Permit so that he does not have <br />to go through this process again. <br />
