86.030 <br />TRAFFIC, BOATS AND PARKS <br />861. Traffic Rules <br />86.010. Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169, Incorporated by Reference. <br />The regulartory provisions and definitions of the Minnesota Traffic Code <br />found in Minnesota Statutes 1967, Chapter 169, as amended by Minnesota <br />Laws 1969 through 1974, are hereby adopted as an ordinance regulating the <br />use of highways, streets, alleys and other portions of the City and are <br />hereby incorporated in and made a part of this Code as completely as if <br />set out herein in full. <br />86.020. Rules on Private Parking Lots. Dn any private parking lots <br />within the City, the following rules shall apply: <br />(1) The police department of the City may post signs at any entrances <br />to such lots from public streets to designate one -way traffic for entrance <br />or exit, and drivers of vehicles entering or leaving such lots shall comply <br />with said posted signs. <br />(2) No person shall operate a motor vehicle on such a lot at a speed <br />greater than is safe and reasonable under existing conditions and in no <br />event at a speed greater than 15 miles per hour. <br />No motor vehicle shall be parked <br />or position which is designated by sign or <br />(4) No motor vehicle shall be parked <br />in any area which is designated or used as <br />in such a lot except in a stall <br />on the surface of the parking area. <br />or allowed to stand in such a lot <br />a lane for moving traffic. <br />(5) No motor vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand in such a lot <br />at a curb which is painted yellow. <br />(6) No motor vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand in such a lot <br />in front of any entrance to anY business open to public patronage. <br />86.030. Open Bottle in Motor Vehicle. <br />(1) No person shall drink, or consume intoxicating liquor or non - <br />intoxicating malt liquors in any motor vehicle. <br />(2) No person shall have in his possession while in a motor vehicle,• <br />any bottle or receptacle containing intoxicating liquors or non - intoxicating <br />malt liquor. which has been opened or the seal broken, or the contents of <br />which have been partially removed. <br />11 <br />165 <br />
