The Minnesota Code of <br />Agency Rules for the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) states under Rule 6 <br />S 3.024 B.1.u. - <br />"Construction of a residential development consisting of 50 or <br />more residential units, any part of which is within a shoreland <br />area (as defined by Minn. Stat. § 105.485 (1974)," <br />will require an environmental assessment worksheet (EAW). <br />I have enclosed a few pages taken out of 'The Environmental Review Program A <br />Workbook for Local Government." The pages I've taken out will assist you in <br />filling out the EAWfonn. Copies of "A Workbook for Local Government" were <br />distributed to all local agencies about two years ago and you should have a <br />copy of it in your office. Additional copies may be obtained from Documents <br />Section, Department of Administration, Roan 140, Centennial Building, St. Paul, <br />MN 55155. <br />After you have colleted the form and signed it on page 12, a copy must, be <br />sent to each name on the enclosed distribution List along with an affadavit <br />of mailing to Mary Sullivan of the EQB. The maps and drawings described on <br />page 2 of the EAw must also be sent to each point.
