Page 2 <br />Planning Commission Regular Meeting <br />August 2, 1979 <br />CARPET CITY: <br />Mrs. Childs <br />Ed McCumber: <br />Mrs. Childs appeared requesting an 18 ft. addition to <br />Carpet City on the north side for garage and storage <br />and a new roof over the whole building. <br />Eugene DeLonais made a motion to accept the concept <br />as presented but no plot plan was presented - also <br />parking must be decided and landscaping plan presented <br />to the Council. <br />Seconded by Joe Vitale. <br />Carried: 6 -0 <br />Ed McCumber presented site plan for a building to be <br />used for mini- storage and rental - zoned lite Industrial. <br />It will be a structural steel building. Parking O.K. - <br />drainage O.K. Landscaping shown. <br />A motion was made by Frank Winiecke to accept the site <br />plan submitted subject to heavy timber landscaping <br />around the south and east to screen the residential <br />area's adjacent to lite Industrial area. Use of <br />property subject to no permanent parking of semi- <br />trailers. <br />Seconded by Joe Vitale. <br />Carried: 3 -2 with 1 abstaining. <br />Frank Winiecke: Frank proposes to build a large garage in place of the <br />old one over existing foundation. <br />Joe Vitale made a motion to accept the concept with <br />provision that he bring a letter of consent from ad- <br />joining land owner. <br />Seconded by Dennis Forsberg. <br />Carried: 5 -1 with 1 abstaining. <br />By popular vote the Planning Commission respectfully requests the City of <br />Little Canada Council consider a remuneration of $10.00 per meeting per <br />person on the Planning Commission in the budget upcoming in October for <br />1980.
