JAMES A. MEYER
RICHARD C. HINIKER
MICHAEL C. FLEMING
LAW OFFICES OF
MEYER, HINIKER AND FLEMING
120 SOUTH LAKE AVENUE
(On Highway 61)
WHITE BEAR LAKE. MINNESOTA 55110
July 24, 1979
TO: Mayor of the City of Little Canada
Members of the City Council
City Clerk
Dear Honorable Officials of the City of Little Canada:
612/429-3323
I am the owner of the existing Mini Shopping Center at the intersection
of Little Canada Road, County Road C, and Lakeshore Avenue.
You willfind enclosed a drawing showing the approximate dimensions of the
existing Shopping Center and also the dimensions of the adjacent property
to the south, the address of the adjacent property being 2718 Lakeshore.
The adjacent property has been recently sold, and I have an opportunity
to acquire all or part of it from the new owner. It is my intention to
attempt to acquire at least the northerly 40 feet of the property for
the purpose of adding the same to the existing shopping center for parking
area. If 40 feet is added to the shopping center property, the remaining
parcel, after removal of 40 feet, would consist of 73 feet of frontage on
Lakeshore and 146 feet of depth, or a total square footage of 10,658 feet.
It is my request that a subdivision of the property be granted so as to
permit the northerly 40 feet to be added to the shopping center property.
I would construct a cyclone fence on the North -South boundary between
the shopping center and the remaining parcel. The garage now situated
to the North of the home would be removed and, very probably, reconstructed
on the South side of the property or the rear of the property depending
upon the various setback requirements.
Thank you for your anticipated consideration in this matter.
JAM :ghm
Yours very truly,
G 21cUO
 JAMES A.
