Page 2 <br />Planning Commission Regular Meeting <br />March 1, 1979 <br />GOPHER ELECTRONICS: Mr. DeLonais stepped off Planning Commission to <br />Gene DeIonais speak on his project. He will not vote. <br />A letter was presented from Mr. Carley about <br />holding pond. <br />JOHN VITALE: <br />Mr. DeLonais requests a variance of parking - <br />one stall for every 200 sq ft. of building - <br />132 parking spaces. He will sell electronic <br />parts but mostly use for office space. 50' <br />from lake for blacktop - will not disturb any <br />trees. <br />He will go back 196 feet from Little Canada Rd. <br />if they can have variance of less parking spaces. <br />The front elevation of the building will be wall <br />panel in earth tone colors. It will be one story <br />on the north and two stories on the south - concrete <br />no wood frame. The upper level will be for office <br />rental and the lower level will be Gopher Elec- <br />tronics. <br />Dick Boss III moved to approve this plan subject <br />to construction of sentiment pond and subject <br />to anticipated revised parking requirements. <br />Seconded by Frank Winiecki. <br />Carried: 6 -0 (Mr. DeLonais abstaining) <br />John Vitale appeared with two proposals. <br />Building A will be the first office building <br />on the Northwest corner of property on Little <br />Canada Road and Market St. <br />Second step will be Building B. <br />They will be three story buildings - 24,000 sq. ft. <br />per building. This is a long range project. Build- <br />ings will be brick or masonry and steel. The zoning <br />is proper. <br />Ralph Nardini moved to accept the Sketch Plan. <br />Seconded by Virginia Fisher. <br />Carried: 7 -0 <br />
