Mtg. <br />10 -25 -79 <br />monies so collected for the park fund be used for land <br />acquisition and for no other purpose. <br />Discussion followed regarding the replacement of pines <br />and deciduous trees and the addition of sugar maples and <br />high bush cranberry to add red color to the parks fall face. <br />The tree replacement and improvement project is anticipated <br />to continue on an annual basis for some time. <br />In an attempt to efficiently consider and monitor the <br />priorities and activities of the park, it was unanimously <br />agreed to schedule park commission meetings for the last <br />Thursday of every month. The next meeting is scheduled <br />for Thursday, November 29, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. at City Center. <br />Special meetings from time to time as needed will be <br />called by the Chairman. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />Edith M.
