(Conttd.) <br />August 8, 1979 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79 -8 -382 - RESPONDING FAVORABLY TO THE <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IN SEEMS OF THEIR INCLUDING A <br />RADAR SYSTEM AS PART OF THEIR OVERALL BUDGET AND THIS <br />RADAR SYSTEM SHOULD BE CHARGED EQUALLY TO ALL CITTFS <br />BASED ON USAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Nadeau, Scalze, and DeBace. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 5, Page 259. <br />April 16 Naayor Hanson reported that as a result of an April 16, 1979 meeting <br />Meeting with the County, the County has sent the City a map of Little <br />With Canada detailing whose responsibility each of the City's streets is. <br />County The County has also put in writing that when there is a problem on <br />a County road, the City can correct the problem and assess the County <br />for the cost. <br />Hamel's Mayor Hanson instructed the City Clerk to send a letter to the Hamel's <br />Goats demanding compliance with the directives of the City several months <br />ago regarding their livestock. Mayor Hanson stated he would personally <br />check out the situation. <br />Seiferd Councilman DeBace commented that Mr. Seiferd is tearing down a house <br />Property on his property. The house is partially torn down and the neighbors <br />are concerned that the remaining structure is a hazard to neighborhood <br />children. <br />Water Tower Mayor Hanson commented that he would like to have a water tower <br />Dedication dedication. His idea is to have the people of Little Canada who are <br />or were in the well drilling business dedicate the water tower to the <br />City. The City Engineer commented that it will be about two weeks <br />before the water tower is completely filled. <br />Appreciation Mayor Hanson stated that the City should prepare a certificate of <br />Certificate appreciation for Larry Saiko for all the work he did with the City's <br />L. Saiko Recreation Department. <br />Storm <br />Shelters <br />Hanson reported that the Fire Department will provide shelter for mobile <br />home residents in Little Canada in the event that a tornado or other <br />disaster causes them to evacuate their homes. <br />Canadian Days Mayor Hanson encourage all the members of Council to participate as <br />Glebration much as possible in the upcoming Canadian Days events. Also, the <br />Sheriffs Department will be policing the events. <br />Page -9- <br />
