NARC Unit - 2 Deputies - Concentrate on gathering evidence for prosecution of Persons selling illegal drugs. Work anywhere in Ramsey County, and at times, outside Ramsey County when investigation requires it. Juvenile Unit - 1 Deputy - Works afternoon shift on all suspected juvenile cases. Handles sexual misconduct, adult and juvenile. Welfare Security - 3 Deputies - Provide for security of employees at two locations: Welfare Department, when offices are open. Patrol - 10 Deputies 51/2 Deputies - Assignment 2445 - Provide one County Patrol vehicle 3 shifts, 7 days a week. Patrol Park Open Space, respond to calls in White Bear Township, provide assistance to other sheriff division units and other agencys. 2 Deputies - Assignment 2447 - Provide K9 service for 4 days out of 6 on 3 -11. 4 days out of 6 on 11 -7. Duties - Patrol Park and Open Space, assist other departments and agencys in Ramsey County. 22 Deputies - Assignment 2448 - Provide patrol service in County Park Open Space 0600 p.m. to 0200 a.m. and assistance to other agencys on request. When man- power permits, provide additional county patrol on other shifts. 1 Clerk - assigned to record, file all reports, forward statistics to necessary agencies, type reports for prosectuion, type all letters, etc. COMMUNICATIONS CENTER 1 Communications Director 12 Radio Dispatchers - provide 2 dispatchers in Communications Center 3 shifts, 7 days per week and a third dispatcher 0600 p.m. to 0200 a.m., 7 days per week. ASSIGNMENTS OF CONTRACT SERVICE EMPLOYEES 2 Sergeants - assigned Investigation Unit. Investigate crime that requires follow - up. 26 Deputy Sheriffs 52 Deputies - Assignment 2462 - 3 shifts, 7 days per week. Patrol coverage of Falcon Heights. Respond to all calls for service in Falcon Heights and assist others in emergency. 51 Deputies - Assignment 2489 - 3 shifts, 7 days per week. Patrol coverage of Arden Hills. Respond to all calls for service in Arden Hills and assist others in emergency. 52 Deputies - Assignment 2461 - 2461 - 3 shifts, 7 days per week. Patrol coverage of Shoreview and part of North Oaks.
