Minnesota Statutes 1978, Section 159.14, <br />9 Subdivision 2, is amended.to.read: <br />10 Suod. 2.. [SPEED LIMITS.] Where no special hazard <br />11 exists the following speeds shall he lawful, but any speeds <br />12 In excess of such timlls shall be prina facie evidence that <br />13 the speed is not reasonable or prudent and that it Is <br />14 unlawful; except that the speed limit within any <br />15 municipality shall be a maximun limit and any speed in <br />16 excess thereof shall be unlawful: <br />17 (1) 30 riles per hour in an urban district, except <br />18 that in an urban district within the seven county <br />19 metropolitan area as defined in section 473.121, <br />20 subdivision 2, the speed limit on streets and highways <br />21 other than trunk highways, county highways, county <br />22 state —aid highways and municipal state —aid streets is 25 <br />
