MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 24, 2006 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-5-716 -TABLING INDEFINITELY THE <br />REQUEST FOR PUD PERMIT FOR 3203 COUNTRY DRIVE AT <br />THE REQUEST OFKCM HOLDINGS AND BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for <br />RELATIVE Conditional Use Permit for two garages (one attached and one detached) <br />TO GARAGE as well as total garage space of approximately 1,310 square feeC <br />SPACE - requested by Anthony Zurn at 2944 Greenbrier Street. IC was noted that <br />2944 the City Planner and Planning Commission recommended approval <br />GREENBRIER - subject to the conditions outlined in the Planner's report dated May 4, <br />ZURN 2006 and thaC there be no business use of these garages. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Blesener, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour asked if access to the rear garage would be through the existing <br />attached garage. The City Planner replied that that was correct, there <br />would not be a separate driveway for the new garage in the rear yard. <br />Montour pointed ouC that Chere is Che same situation on Edgerton Street, <br />and the property owner is driving around the attached garage to access the <br />garage in the rear yard. Montour pointed out that Chis will be a code <br />enforcement issue if it occurs and the neighbors begin to complain. <br />Blesener asked the use of the additional garage space. The City Planner <br />stated that the property owner has indicated that he would use the space <br />for the storage of garden equipment and a boat. The property owner <br />indicated that he would rarely need vehicular access to the rear garage. <br />Montour asked about the height of the proposed garage in relation to the <br />existing house. The City Planner indicated the proposed garage would be <br />several feet lower than the house. It was also suggested that the garage <br />doors on the proposed garage face into the back yard area. <br />Mr. LaValle inriā€¢oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />
