There is no way of defining <br />this, since sounds that may annoy one person may have no effect <br />on another. But as anyone knows who has listened to a barking <br />dog all night, noises that cause a prolonged period of annoy- <br />ance can have a tremendous effect on the mind." <br />In conclusion we have tried to express the impact that this <br />new "technological advancement" has had on our lives by quoting <br />from the literature. We see this as a real threat to our <br />existence personally and a detriment to the quality of life in <br />New Brighton should other households submit to the advertising <br />and deem electronic bug killers a necessity.
