Ryan Laidscaping Supply Co. , Inc.
c/o Art Ryan, President
Page 2
3. This Agency has recently been contacted by you about accepting approxi-
mately the equivalent of two (2) weeks worth of ash from the University
of Minnesota for use as fill material. In addition, you have been in
contact with this Agency to use demolition materials from Koppers
Coke or other places as road base fill. You have been instructed
over the phone to submit a plan to the Permits Section of the
Division of Solid Waste (contact person, Sandra Forrest 297 -2715)
concerning the amount of fly ash and concrete rubble needed to
finish your project. This plan should include the volumes needed
in cubic yards, the time frame over which the material may come
in, and the types of materials to be used (i.e. how much fly ash
and where will it be deposited), how much concrete and where will
it be deposited. Upon receiving this information the Agency will
act upon the merits of this plan and either approve or disapprove
by letter. It follows that no further wastes be accepted other
than clean earthen material until written approval is granted by
this Agency.
Sincerely,
q,
Gerald J.
