Minutes of the regular meeting. Planning Commission - City of Little Canada December 4, 1980 The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada was held on the 4th day of December, 1980 at 515 Little Canada Road in said city. Call to order: 7:30pm MEMBERS PRESENT: Peter Costa Gene DeLonais Sharon Timmons Thomas Ducharme Dennis Forsberg Joseph Vitale MEMBERS ABSENT: Richard Boss III Fred Clasen Virginia Fisher ALSO PRESENT: Alan Brixius - Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. NOVEMBER MINUTES The munites of the November 1980 minutes of the Planning Commission were approved. ST. JUDE MEDICAL, REVIEW OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS Bob Burrow, Architect for St. Jude Medical, Inc., appeared along with Joe Moirbroek St. Jude Medical officer. St. Jude is now asking for approval of Development and Final stages. Mr. Burrow stated that at the time that Phase 2 is completed, the road will be put through to Co. Rd. B -2 (approx. 1983). They are planning to start work on Phase 1 immediately. Dennis Forsberg asked what the road surface would be on the road planned for Phase 1. Bob Borrow said that the road surface and parking associated with Phase 1 will be completed upon occupancy of Phase 1, shich should be around August 1981. Phase 1 bldg. will be approx. 5000 sq. ft. Mr. Burrow said that they are now ready to go ahead with excavation as soon as Monday (12- 8 -80). He said that they were given approval for excavation alon with the concept approval. Construction blueprints were shown to the Planning Commission members and a copy left with Alan Brixius of Northwest Associated Consultants. Mr. Burrow stated that the city attorney is in the process of drawing up the PUD agreement at the present time. Bob Burrow stated that St. Jude Medical is committed to loop the water main between the 8" main in Viking Drive and the 12" main on Co. Rd. B -2 (approx. 800 ft. away) during Phase 2 of their plans.
