DRA <br />Meal <br />ARTICLE IV <br />COMMITTEES <br />Section 1 The Advisory Board shall maintain a committee structure in order to <br />perform its duties. <br />Section 2 The composition of each committee or subgroup shall generally reflect <br />the membership of the entire Advisory Board (CC Act). <br />Section 3 ADDITIONAL MEMBERS <br />At the discretion of the Committee Chairman, up to three additional <br />committee positions may be filled by non - Justice Advisory Board members. <br />The Committee Chairman shall make such recommendations in writing to <br />the JAB Chairman for review and approval by the Executive Committee. <br />The JAB Chairman shall then forward the recommendations to the County <br />Board Chairman. Subject to approval, the County Board Chairman shall <br />notify the person(s) of their appointment to the JAB Committee. <br />EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE <br />The Executive Committee of the Advisory Board shall consist of the <br />Advisory Board Chairman, 1st Vice - Chairman, Chairmen of the Standing <br />Committees, and the Chairmen of the Ad Hoc Committees as approved by <br />the Chairmen of the Board. <br />* Section 4 <br />Section 5 <br />Section 6 <br />Section 1 <br />Section 2 <br />The Chairmen and members of the JUVENILE JUSTICE COMMITTEE, ADULT <br />JUSTICE COMMITTEE, PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE, and Ad Hoc Commmittees <br />shall be appointed by the Chairmen of the Advisory Board. <br />AD HOC COMMITTEES <br />Ad hoc committees of the Advisory Board may be appointed, as necessary, <br />by the Chairman of the Advisory Board. If an ad hoc committee requiring <br />representation from the Advisory Board is created by the County Board <br />and /or the City of St. Paul, the Advisory Board representation shall be <br />appointed and the Chairman of the Advisory Board will be informed. <br />ARTICLE V <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS, OFFICES AND DUTIES <br />APPOINTMENT OF THE CHAIRPERSON AND 1ST VICE - CHAIRPERSON <br />The Chairman of the County Board shall designate one member of the <br />Advisory Board as Chairman to serve for the length of term specified <br />for that category represented by the person and provided for in <br />Section 401.08, CC Act. The Mayor of St. Paul, likewise, will desig- <br />nate another member 1st Vice- Chairman. <br />PRINCIPAL OFFICERS <br />The principal officers of the Advisory Board shall be the Chairman, <br />1st Vice Chairman, and Chairmen of the standing committees. <br />69 <br />
