MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 24, 2013
ADJOURN
"Northeast Residential Redevelopment Project" was reviewed with the
Administrator indicating that staff would contact Pat Johnson to determine
whether he is willing to sell his site for redevelopment. If Johnson is not
willing to sell at this time, the Administrator indicated that it may be
necessary for the City to tear down the 3046 LaBore Road house that it
owns. There was also discussion relative to the City continuing to pursue
either the purchase of the Brausen property or option agreements on the
Acosta /Boog /Brausen properties. The Administrator indicated that any
offer to purchase the Brausen property would be based on an appraisal.
The Administrator indicated that $500 would be offered for an option
agreement which would then be deducted from the future purchase price
of the property.
The Administrator reviewed the action plan for "Evaluate Traffic Safety
Improvements" noting the Public Works Superintendent's evaluation and
pending report.
The Administrator noted that many of the Action Plans call for further
reports to the Council on May 22nd and suggested that a workshop be
scheduled for that date. The Administrator also indicated that he would
make whatever modifications to the Action Plans and present them to the
Council for adoption at the May 8°i meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was ad'ourned at 7:20 p.m.
Attest:
Hanson, City Administrator
5
'. or re
r . sever, Mayor
