Minutes <br />k <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />February 12, 1987 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 12th day of February, 1987 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />and the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene DeLonais, Acting Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Thomas Perlinger <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />Sharon Timmons <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Peter Costa <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the January 8, 1987 <br />Planning Commission meeting, Mr. DeLonais indicated that the minutes <br />will stand approved as read. <br />Front Yard Mr. Gordy Howe appeared before the Commission requesting approval <br />Setback of a front yard setback variance for his Lakeview Estates plat <br />Variance which is located along Edgerton. Howe explained that he submitted <br />Lakeview his plat to the County for approval, and they are requiring 10 feet <br />Estates of additional right -of -way from the plat. <br />Timmons asked if the homes that Howe proposes to build on the <br />property would be in line with the existing homes on Edgerton. <br />Howe replied that they would be. <br />Davison asked why the County wants an additional 10 feet in this <br />area. <br />Howe replied that they are requesting the additional right -of -way <br />in the event that Edgerton Street is ever widened. <br />Timmons pointed out that the Planner has indicated that a hardship <br />exists in that the additional right -of -way was requested after <br />the City granted preliminary approval to the plat. Timmons also <br />pointed out the it would be better to have the homes in line. <br />Herkenhoff asked how far the homes would be set from the road. <br />page 1 <br />
