C and Rice Street P.U.D. <br />FILE NO: 758.09 - 86.46 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Sherman - Boosalis has recently purchased the property at the northeast <br />corner of Rice Street and County Road C, surrounding the Rice <br />Street veterinary property. They have also purchased the westerly <br />20 feet of the vet clinic parcel which was split by Dr. Kreinke <br />in February. They are proposing to develop a strip retail center <br />of 13,200 square feet, 2,400square feet of which would be convenience <br />gas /grocery In addition, current plans include a freestanding <br />convenience style restaurant, however at this time, the developer <br />is not filing for this permit as the actual tenant is not yet <br />arranged. <br />The submitted applications for this development are a Subdivision <br />(lot combination) to combine the larger parcel with the 20 foot <br />section of the vet clinic property, a conditional use permit <br />for a planned unit development, and a conditional use permit <br />for a convenience gas /grocery facility.
