Handi -Liff Vertical Wheelchair Lift <br />The Handi- Liftl—The space efficient vertical Wheelchair Lift. <br />The Cheney Handi -Litt provides easy stairway access to <br />people with physical handicaps, including those confined <br />to wheelchairs. The overall cabinet width of 48;' up <br />to 10" less than other lifts, allows installation in very con- <br />fined areas. The Handi -Lift achieves this narrow width with- <br />out sacrificing platform size. A full 12 square foot platform <br />is maintained inside the barriers. <br />A 500 pound load rating with an optional 750 pound rat- <br />ing makes the Handi -Lift the most versatile unit on the <br />market. <br />Because the Handi -Lift comes in a variety of panel selec- <br />tions, even the most discriminating will find it an attractive <br />solution to accessibility problems. <br />The Handi -Lift is available in five lifting heights, ranging <br />from 4 feet to 12 feet. In heights 6 feet and over, a wall <br />mount is required. Complete information for mounting is <br />available from The •• • '^inpany. <br />Units illustrated in this brochure are shown with options <br />that may be required for public building installations: a <br />42" gate on the platform and at the upper landing. Each <br />gate features a mechanical lock and electric contacts to <br />prevent movement from a landing unless the gate is both <br />closed and locked. <br />A forward ramp /guard plate operates automatically, pro- <br />viding easy wheelchair access.
