MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 17, 2006 <br />Next reviewed was Che Public District, with Che consensus Co increase the <br />side yard setback when abutting a public street to the equivalent of the <br />front yard setback. <br />Next reviewed were the Administrative Sections of the Zoning Code <br />relative to Amendments, Rezonings, Conditional Use Permits, Variances, <br />Appeals, Planned Unit Developments, Certificate of Occupancy, <br />Enforcement and Penalties, and Enactment. There were no additional <br />changes recommended other than staff and Planner comments. <br />The City Clerk pointed out the number of CUP applications received for <br />garage space between 1,000 and 1,500 square feet and/or second garages. <br />She suggested that given the frequency of these CUP requests, the Council <br />consider making this garage space a permitted use subject to appropriate <br />conditions. The Council agreed, and stated that they would review the <br />conditions to ensure that they address al] the appropriate issues of concern. <br />The Planner noted that Sections 916 and 9'17 will be discussed as part of <br />the environmental reviews. <br />Next reviewed was the Subdivision Ordinance.
