participation construction and construction engineering items to be performed hereunder. <br />Said City costs are based on plan quantity distribution SCHEDULE "I" and cost <br />participation as described hereunder. <br />It is hereby understood and agreed that any and all liquidated damages assessed the <br />state's contractor in connection with the work performed under said state contract <br />shall result in a credit shared by the City and the County in the same proportion as <br />their respective total cost share of construction contract work is to the total contract <br />cost without any deduction for liquidated damages. <br />LOCAL AGENCY COST PARTICIPATION CONSTRUCTION <br />COUNTY AND CITY COSTS <br />1. The County shall pay for the construction to be performed upon, along and <br />adjacent to those portions of County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) <br />and County Road 139 (Centerville Road) which are east of County State Aid <br />Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) Engineer Station 13 +75 (a point approximately <br />125 feet east of the T.H. 35E northbound exit and entrance ramps) within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Little Canada under State Project 6280 -233 (T.H. <br />35E =390) and State Aid Projects 62- 621 -03, 200 - 020 -01 and 200 - 103 -01. Said <br />construction includes, but is not limited to, clearing, grubbing, miscellaneous <br />removal, salvaging, installation and adjustment, sawing concrete and bituminous <br />pavement, excavation, embankment, pavement marking, turf establishment and <br />the construction of aggregate and bituminous surfacing including its aggregate <br />base, 74.3% of the storm sewer facilities, water main facilities including insulation <br />and granular bedding, 25% of concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway <br />pavement and its aggregate base and bituminous curb. The City shall pay 100% <br />of the 3" bituminous walk and its aggregate base, 7596 of the concrete curb and <br />gutter design B624 and 25.7% of the storm sewer system. <br />2. The City shall pay for all of the construction of concrete walk and its aggregate <br />base to be performed along the south side of that portion of County State Aid <br />Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) which is west of T.H. 35E Ramp A (the <br />southwest quadrant of the T.H. 35E - County State Aid Highway 21 interchange) <br />within the corporate limits of the City of Little Canada under State Project <br />6280 -233 (T.H. 35E =390) and State Aid Project 200 - 020 -01. <br />3. The City shall pay for all the Haul Salvaged Material to be performed upon, <br />along and adjacent to County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) and <br />County Road 139 (Centerville Road) with the corporate limits of the City of <br />Little Canada under State Project 6280 -233 (T.H. 35E =390) and State Aid Projects <br />62- 621 -03, 200 - 020 -01 and 200 - 103 -01. <br />4. The City shall pay 0.551494% of all of the construction of Bridge 62896 to be <br />performed at the T.H. 35E - County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) <br />interchange within the corporate limits of the City of Little Canada under State <br />Project 6280 -62896 (T.H. 35E =390). <br />NOTE: Two additional 12 foot driving lanes were added to the'design of Bridge 62896 <br />at the request of the City. The City 0.55194 percent rate of cost participation <br />was determined by multiplying the City 25 percent share of said additional driving <br />lane construction (reduced to 2.5 percent because of Federal aid) times the <br />engineer's estimated costs for said additional driving lane construction and dividing <br />Page 94 <br />87022 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />
