MINUTES <br />NATIONAL <br />POLICE <br />WEEK <br />PROCLA- <br />MATION <br />ON -SALE <br />LIQUOR AND <br />ON -SALE <br />WINE <br />LICENSE FEES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 8, 2013 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 8th day of May, <br />2013 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />Public Works Supt. <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Mr. Kevin I-Ielander <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -5 -75 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE APRIL 24, 2013 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE <br />APRIL 24, 2013 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Mayor Blesener proclaimed the week of May 12 through 18, 2013 as <br />Police Week in the City of Little Canada. He also reported that the <br />public is invited to attend the 2" Annual Suburban Ramsey County Law <br />Enforcement Memorial Day Ceremony on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at <br />commencing at Noon at the Roseville Oval at 2662 Civic Center Drive. <br />Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider an increase <br />in On -Sale Liquor License Fee and On -Sale Wine License fee. <br />The City Clerk reported that for the past seven years, the City has tied <br />liquor license fee increases to the increase in the gross levy. The 2013 <br />gross levy increase is 1.97 %, and staff is recommending that the On -Sale <br />
