MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 24, 2013 <br />road curvature, etc. The Administrator pointed out that this concept still <br />requires cooperation of other property owners relative to infrastructure <br />cost financing. Dave Brausen indicated that the Brausen family may be <br />willing to pay the entire cost of the stub road, and asked that the Council <br />give them the stub road as designed in the concept presented this evening. <br />Montour expressed concern with the timing of the presentation of this <br />concept. Dave Brausen stated that he did not submit it earlier since every <br />other concept he has presented has been criticized. Steve Brausen stated <br />that it was not their job to design this project right, and felt that a <br />development proposal that incorporated the Brausen property should have <br />been submitted by Rud. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -4 -64 — APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT <br />FOR PINETREE POND CONSISTING OF FIFTEEN (15) SINGLE - <br />FAMILY LOTS AS SUBMITTED BY MASTERPIECE HOMES <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN HIS APRIL 5, 2013 <br />REPORT, THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY ENGINEER <br />AS OUTLINED IN HIS APRIL 5, 2013 REPORT, AND BASED ON <br />THE FINDING THAT THE FINAL PLAT IS CONSISTENT WITH <br />THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY PLAT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). <br />Abstains (1) Boss. Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:31 p.m., Council took a short recess. The <br />meeting was reconvened at 8:35 p.m. <br />USAgain Blesener reported that the City has received complaints relative to the <br />RECYCLING placement of clothing recycling bins at various locations within the City. <br />BOXES Blesener pointed out that these boxes are not allowed under the Zoning <br />Code and are considered illegal outdoor storage. Consequently, a letter <br />was sent to USAgain ordering the removal of their boxes. This evening a <br />representative of USAgain is present to ask the City to consider amending <br />its ordinance to make these clothing recycling bins a conditional use. <br />Brad Berg, USAgain, reported that they have a total of five recycling bins <br />in the City, some of which were established in 2009.
