PLANNING COMMISSION page 3 Sept. 3, 1981 HOLZSCHCH CON'T Motion to table issue until 2 weeks made by Gene DeLonais. Seconded -LeRoy LeMay. Motion carried 8 -0. EXPANSION OF PEPPINOS The Planning Commission would like all property owners notified of a special meeting of the Planning Commission to be held two week from tonight. The Planner will have different plans to hopefully settle the problem,ready by then. Amendment to Ordinance to permit 50 ft. widths in streets: Brad stated that, because of lot configurations, 60 ft. wide streets are not possible. in the area. He stated that both he and Mr. Carley are in favor of reducing the required 60' to 50' in residential streets. All roads on both the Planners plan and the City Engineers plan are 50'. Motion to recommend that the council approve to amend Sec. 1006.030 allowing 50' minimum instead of 60' minimum on local residential streets made by Joe Vitale. Seconded by Jim Steele. Motion carried 8 -0. Addition on the west end of the building, 20' by 50'. (1,000 sq. ft.). Six parking spaces are lost by putting on addition. Motion to recommend approval of addition subject to Planner approving number of parking spaces made by Sharon Timmons. Seconded by Roy French. Motion carried 8 -0. POLE BLDG.PROPOSAL Charles Webber appeared. 2962 No.Rice (on north side of Antler Corp. and apartment building) is the address where Mr. Webber is requesting permission to build a 24' X 40' pole building, to make cement ornaments. Brad stated that the use of the property cannot be added to, without granting a variance or changing the zoning on the property. Motion to grant variance to construct 24' X 40' structure ( to replace 2 previously existing buildings in poor condition) made by Roy French. Seconded by Jim Steele. Motion carried 8 -0.
