D.P. luus <br />Dear Mr. Neumann: <br />Regretfully I must inform you it appears that the assessment <br />for Improvement No. 78 -10 did not appear on your 1980 taxes. The <br />mix -up was caused by an error in Property I. D. Nos. The assess- <br />ment rolls came out with one number and the property tax listing <br />came out with another number, and it did not appear on your taxes. <br />Therefore the assessment payment due in 1981 will be recom- <br />puted for the 1981 taxes collected in 1982. Your payment schedule <br />will not be for fifteen years but for 14 years, commencing with <br />the 1981 taxes collectable in 1982. <br />'I am also sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Gilbert. It <br />may be possible in the selling of the home an escrow fund was <br />established for the assessment. <br />The balance for the assessment as of this date is $1,948.60. <br />You can pay this in full at the City Office of Little Canada with- <br />out interest.
