PLEASE NOTE THAT-
 a
ue rnron
HAS CHANGED ITS NAME TO-
FUEL ECONOMY CONTRACTING COMPANY
May 14, 1981
Council of the City of Little Canada
City Center
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Subject: Public Hearing, May 13, 1981
Kath Brothers Fuel Oil Company
Variance Proposal
Gentlemen:
prE01/
MAY 13 1981
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
P. 0. 60% 93336
EST WOOOLYNN AVENUE
PAUL, MINNESOTA 55164
16121404 -0404
I appeared at the Public Hearing last night in the above matter
as an officer of Fuel Economy Contracting Company and in accord-
ance with Hearing Procedures, we request that the formal record
include this written response or statement.
We understand the desire of Kath Brothers to provide enclosed
space for their fuel trucks, and the express interest of other
interested neighbors in having such enclosure for the trucks.
We are, as I expressed, concerned with the public safety, and
the safety of our employees in particular. Our specific
concern is the blocking of Woodlynn Ave. during truck maneuvering
into or out of such an enclosure, particularly at times of train
movement on the Soo Line tracks that would create a serious
hazard.
During Miss Cynthia Kath's formal presentation, she made the
following commitments:.
1. Trucks will enter the garage from the North.
2. Trucks will drive through the garage, and exit to the
South onto Woodlynn.
3. Trucks will not back out onto Woodlynn Ave.
4. Trucks will not maneuver so as to block Woodlynn Ave.
2
