PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />Planning Commission - Cuty of Little Canada <br />The Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada <br />was held on June 4, 1981 at 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada Minnesota. <br />Meeting Called to order: 7:35pm <br />Members Present: <br />Pete Costa <br />Eugene De Lonais <br />Meyers Frattalone <br />James Steele <br />Roy Franck <br />Sharon Timmons <br />Thomas Ducharme <br />Joseph Vitale (8:OOpm) <br />Leroy Lamay <br />Also Present: <br />Anne Bronken - Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. <br />Minutes of May 12, 1981 meeting were approved. <br />New Members: Mr. Leroy Lamay and Mr. Roy Franch were welcomed to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />The foliwing items on the adjenda were tabled because no one was present <br />to represent the proposals: <br />Sofie- Peterson - Blomquist Proposal <br />McGough - Conditional use permit for outside storage of equipment <br />Lot 2 Blk 1 - Preferred Properties <br />The Planning Commission would like the City Council to inform them of the <br />decision made in regard to the Tax Forfeited Land on Twin Lake Blvd, <br />Kelby Property Division - Mr. Gordon Nadeau appeared with a proposal to <br />make part of property now owned by Mrs. Kelby (Property A) part <br />of his property (Property B). He wants to buy property A to protect <br />access to his property (B). Property A has a 110' frontage on Edgerton. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council approves sub division of <br />Property A from the remaining portion of Mrs. Kelby's property <br />with the stipulation that the legal description of the property <br />reads that a easement will be allowed on the property to allow <br />access to Property B (this easement to serve property B only) <br />made by Gene DeLonais. Seconded by Meyers Frattalone <br />Motion carried 9 -0 <br />Private Recreational Park - Centerville Road - Mr. Steven DeLancey appeared <br />with proposal to erect a private ball park and 3.2 liquor establishment <br />on Centerville Road. The proposal calls far::. 2 softball fields to be <br />used immediately (with planyis for 3 additional-ones in the future), The <br />area would also include a tot lot. Mr. DeLancey stated that the main <br />revenue would come from the 3.2 Bar which would be open year round. <br />The park would be used for softball tournaments during the summer (each <br />weekend from April to October) with league play during the week. During <br />the other parts of the year it would be used for Broomball and Football. <br />Mr, Delancey further stated that they (him and his Dad) have no special <br />plans to hire private security people to police the area, <br />
