For District Use: <br />Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District <br />PERMIT <br />Permission is granted to do the work proposed in application number 177 (attached) <br />in accordance with the Rules and Regulations and Overall Plan of the District; <br />following special provisions: <br />subject to the <br />1. Construction shall be in accordance with the plans submitted to the District dated <br />October 28, 1980. <br />2. Grading operations shall be accomplished in a manner which minimizes potential for <br />erosion and sedimentation using dikes, check dams or temporary ponding areas con- <br />sisting of anchored hay bales backed by a snow fence or approved material. Before <br />grading operations commence, the erosion and sediment control facilities must be <br />constructed. The District's Engineer must be notified upon completion of construc- <br />tion of these erosion and sediment control facilities for his inspection. Grading, <br />operations may commence after the Engineer approves these facilities. <br />3. Permittees shall maintain erosion and sediment facilities until restoration is <br />completed and established. Restoration of disturbed areas shall be completed as <br />soon as possible. Where on -going construction makes immediate restoration <br />impossible, anchored hay bales or other approved erosion control facilities shall <br />be used to minimize sediment from leaving the construction area. <br />4. Waste material shall not be deposited in any wetland or pothole within the District <br />without written approval to do so being first obtained from the District. This <br />permit does not grant authority for such disposal. <br />5. Plans or schedules for erosion control which may be submitted by the contractor to <br />the project engineer shall be brought to the District's attention. <br />6. Upon completion of the project and the disturbed area restored, the permittee must <br />notify the District's engineering advisor (either Dennis Palmer or Steven Klein at <br />920 - 0655). <br />7. Any disturbed area which is not to be developed immediately must be seeded and disc <br />mulched within 10 to 14 days after being disturbed. <br />The Board reserves the right to review and revise these special provisions <br />as circumstances may require.
