Minutes of the regular meeting. <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />January 8, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada <br />was held on the 8th day of January, 1981 at 515 Little Canada Road in said city. <br />Call to order: 7:35pm <br />Members Present: Mr. Peter Costa <br />Mr. Joseph Vitale <br />Mrs. Sharon Timmons <br />Mr. Myers Frattalone <br />Mr. Thomas Ducharme <br />Mr. Euguene DeLonais <br />Mr. James Steele <br />Members Absent: Mr. Richard Boss III <br />Mr. Fred Clasen <br />Also Present: Brad Nielsen - Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. <br />Mr. Raymond Hanson appeared representing the City Council and informed <br />the Planning Commission members that the only criteria that the Council <br />has in determining the capability of the Commission members is their <br />attendance at the Planning Commission meetings. He stated that in <br />reappointing Commission members they look at their attendance record. <br />DECEMBER MINUTES <br />The minutes of the December 1980 minutes of the Planning Commission were <br />approved. <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />The following Commission members were elected: <br />Chairman: Mr. Peter Costa <br />Secretary: Mrs. Sharon Timmons <br />Vice Chairman: Mr. Eugene Delonais <br />RICHARD DEMONT VARIANCE <br />This matter was tabled until Mr. Demont or a representative of his could <br />be present at the Planning Commission meeting to discuss the variance. <br />A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 1981. <br />ART RYAN PROPOSAL <br />Mr. Ryan appeared with plans to construct two buildings on Lots 7 and 8, Block 4, <br />Ryan Industrial Park. These two buildings would be serviced by one driveway <br />which would run between the two buildings. Each building would be approximately <br />64' X 70' (including the office area) and each lot is approximately 100' X 260'. <br />The Planning Commission members agreed with the City Planner that the common <br />driveway should be dealt with in such a manner that it will always remain <br />accessible to both buildings and be the responsibility of the owners of both <br />the buildings. This could be done by recording the joint use of the driveway <br />against the titles of the two lots. Mr. Ryan indicated that he would be willing <br />to work with the City Attorney, if necessary, to do this. He also stated that <br />he understood the City Planners recommendation that the plans should include <br />a perimeter curb on the driveway aides of the buildings. <br />2 <br />1 <br />
