Storage, handling or use of Class II or III liquids in excess of <br />25 gallons in a building; or in excess of 60 gallons outside a building, <br />except for fuel oil used in connection with oil burning equipment. <br />3. Installation and use of equipment and premises for the storage, <br />handling, use or sale of flammable or combustible liquids as herein <br />stipulated. The required permit shall be obtained prior to the com- <br />mencement of any work. <br />• <br />Containers, Tanks, Equipment and Apparatus <br />Sec. 15.104. Containers, tanks, equipment and apparatus used or <br />intended to be used for the storage, handling, use or sale of flammable <br />or combustible liquids shall be of an approved type. Glass containers <br />exceeding 8 fluid ounces in capacity shall not be approved except <br />where contamination is a factor. Samples of not to exceed one quart <br />individual capacity may be taken in glass containers for commercial <br />reference or testing. <br />Warning Labels for Containers of Flammable Liquids <br />Sec. 15.105. (a) Warning labels shall conform with the Federal <br />. Hazardous Substance Labeling Act, and applicable State Laws. All <br />flammable liquids, flammable and liquid compounds or mixtures man- <br />ufactured, packaged or offered for sale shall be conspicuously marked <br />or labeled in easily legible type, which is in contrast by typography, <br />layout or color with any other printed matter on the label. <br />.(b) This Section does not apply to foods, drugs, or cosmetics sub- <br />ject to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. <br />Hazardous Heating, Lighting and Cooking Appliances Prohibited <br />Sec. 15.106. A person shall not use, within a building or structure <br />except a dwelling, any heating, lighting or cooking appliance which <br />uses Class I flammable liquids. <br />Unlawful Sale of Flammable Liquids <br />Sec. 15.107. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for <br />sale flammable liquids with a flash point of 100 °F., or less for the <br />express purpose of domestic cleaning. <br />Dispensing Devices <br />Sec. 15.108. Dispensing devices for flammable or combustible <br />liquids shall be of an approved type. <br />Dispensing <br />Sec. 15.109. (a) Flammable liquids shall not be dispensed by <br />gravity from tanks, drums, barrels or similar containers. An exception <br />may be granted where the nature of the liquid to be dispensed makes <br />such a restriction impractical. Approved pumps taking suction from the <br />i top of the container shall be used.
