PETTY OFFENSES <br />1203.020. CONCEALED WEAPONS. It shall be unlawful for any person within the <br />limits of Little Canada to carry or wear concealed about his person any pistol, <br />dagger, switch blade knife, bowie knife, razor, metal knuckles, or any other dangerous <br />or deadly weapons. <br />1203.030. TERM. The term firearms, as used in this Code, shall include gas guns, <br />pressure guns, air guns, or other guns. <br />1203.040. CONFISCATION BY VILLAGE. Any weapons or explosive materials duly <br />adjudged by the Municipal Court to have been discharged, worn or carried in violation <br />of this Code shall be confiscated and such weapons shall be turned over to the Chief <br />of Police of the Village of Little Canada to be kept, sold or disposed of in the <br />manner herein provided. <br />1203.050. USE BY LITTLE CANADA POLICE. Any weapons or materials confiscated <br />pursuant to this Code may be kept or used by the Police Department if such are adaptable <br />to police purposes. Any weapons and materials which would be dangerous to reintroduce <br />into channels of private sale or use, may, in the discretion of the Village police, be <br />destroyed. Any weapons or materials which may be safely placed in the hands of private <br />owners may be sold by the police at public auction pursuant to at least two weeks <br />published notice of such sale. <br />1203.060. NOT APPLICABLE. This Code shall not apply to police officers or other <br />authorized personnel when using firearms or other weapons in the regular course of <br />performing when using firearms or other weapons in the regular course of performing <br />their duties. <br />1203.070. LICENSE. A license to carry concealed weapons or to discharge firearms <br />may be issued by the Council pursuant to application to the Village Clerk. The fee <br />for such license shall be $3.00 and such license shall expire at the end of the calendar <br />year in which it is issued. Every license shall state the name, age, location and <br />residence of the person to whom it is granted and each such license shall be approved <br />and countersigned by the Village Police Officer before delivery to the licensee. <br />(Source: Ord. 50.) <br />09 s - — 1 ;ou <br />1204. SNOWMOBILES. - Ai— / o- 09 , p o G✓ — �cGs iu'a , <br />1204.010. DEFINITIONS. For purposes of this Code, the following definitions <br />are hereby set forth: <br />A. "Snowmobile" - a power driven, self - propelled vehicle designed <br />to travel upon snow, ice or natural terrain. <br />B. 'Operator" - the person who handles and operates the controls <br />which are used to start, stop and direct the course of travel <br />of a snowmobile. <br />C.
