PETTY OFFENSES 1203.020. CONCEALED WEAPONS. It shall be unlawful for any person within the limits of Little Canada to carry or wear concealed about his person any pistol, dagger, switch blade knife, bowie knife, razor, metal knuckles, or any other dangerous or deadly weapons. 1203.030. TERM. The term firearms, as used in this Code, shall include gas guns, pressure guns, air guns, or other guns. 1203.040. CONFISCATION BY VILLAGE. Any weapons or explosive materials duly adjudged by the Municipal Court to have been discharged, worn or carried in violation of this Code shall be confiscated and such weapons shall be turned over to the Chief of Police of the Village of Little Canada to be kept, sold or disposed of in the manner herein provided. 1203.050. USE BY LITTLE CANADA POLICE. Any weapons or materials confiscated pursuant to this Code may be kept or used by the Police Department if such are adaptable to police purposes. Any weapons and materials which would be dangerous to reintroduce into channels of private sale or use, may, in the discretion of the Village police, be destroyed. Any weapons or materials which may be safely placed in the hands of private owners may be sold by the police at public auction pursuant to at least two weeks published notice of such sale. 1203.060. NOT APPLICABLE. This Code shall not apply to police officers or other authorized personnel when using firearms or other weapons in the regular course of performing when using firearms or other weapons in the regular course of performing their duties. 1203.070. LICENSE. A license to carry concealed weapons or to discharge firearms may be issued by the Council pursuant to application to the Village Clerk. The fee for such license shall be $3.00 and such license shall expire at the end of the calendar year in which it is issued. Every license shall state the name, age, location and residence of the person to whom it is granted and each such license shall be approved and countersigned by the Village Police Officer before delivery to the licensee. "Snowmobile" - a power driven, self - propelled vehicle designed to travel upon snow, ice or natural terrain. B. 'Operator" - the person who handles and operates the controls which are used to start, stop and direct the course of travel of a snowmobile. C.
