MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 28, 2006 <br />SIX-MONTH <br />REVIEW - <br />COLESIUM <br />BILLIARDS <br />Blesener asked about compliance specifics. The City Administrator noted <br />Yhat Sedaghat will need to comply with limitations on the mm~bers of cars, <br />debris issues and site conditions. With regard to paving and landscaping, <br />the Administrator reported that the City Engineer is taking another look at <br />Che property to determine if there are any drainage improvements that <br />could be made to improve drainage for the area as a whole. <br />Keis noted the correspondence from the City Engineer indicating that the <br />Valor property is not properly graded, it is low in the middle. Keis <br />pointed out that the Engineer has indicated that if the property were filled <br />and properly graded and paved, it would drain properly. The <br />Administrator agreed, but noted that there may be some larger drainage <br />problems for the area and the City Engineer is taking a look aC the <br />situation. <br />LaValle stated that he would like a count of the vehicles on Che Valor <br />property with specific vehicle information as well as ownership <br />information. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-6-ISI -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE VALOR ENTERPRISES CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER 27, 2006 COUNCIL MEETING <br />IN ORDER TO GIVE FRED SEDAGHAT OF VALOR ENTERPRISES <br />AN ADDITIONAL 90 DAYS TO CLEAN UP HIS PROPERTY WITH <br />THE STIPULATION THAT CITY STAFF CONDUCT 30 DAY <br />PROGRESS INSPECTIONS OF THE SITE, AND APPROVING THE <br />ISSUANCE OF 90-DAYAUTO REPAIR AND AUTO SALES <br />LICENSES TO VALOR ENTERPRISES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener opened the six-month review of the Conditional Use Permit <br />for Coliseum Billiards. Blesener reviewed the letter received from <br />Garden Terrace expressing concern about criminal activities which <br />they are attributing Co the clientele frequenting the billiard hall. He also <br />reviewed a letter from the Sheriff's Department indicating Chat they have <br />had no reports of this criminal activity, and have not experienced a <br />problem with the billiard hall. <br />15 <br />
