MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 28, 2006 <br />Blesener reported that he contacted Garden Terrace, and was told that <br />there was one incident related to some youths behind the building, but the <br />Sheriff's Department was not called and she was not sure that these people <br />came from the billiard hall. <br />Brenda Meyer, Coliseum Billiards, indicated that they abide by the curfew <br />laws and do not allow children in the hall after curfew. Meyer further <br />reported that later at night their clientele is Cypically young adults from 19 <br />years of age to Cheir mid-20's. She also reported that the billiard hall has <br />yet to implement its alcohol license. Meyer further stated that their late <br />night business has been very light, and typically they close before 2 a.~n. <br />Brian Meyer stated that they are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure <br />that their business is not a problem for the area. Blesener suggested thaC <br />the Meyer's meet with the residents at Garden Terrace. <br />Blesener noted that there has been no crime activity or problems shown to <br />be connected to the billiard hall. It was the consensus of the Council that <br />the six-month review was a satisfactory one. <br />ONE-YEAR Blesener opened the one-year review of the PUD Permit for Women's <br />REVIEW - Care Center, noting that there was discussion of the potential for parking <br />WOMEN'S problems aY the townoffice complex when the PUD Permit was first <br />LIFE CARE issued. <br />CENTER <br /> Ed Gorman, Women's Life Care Center, appeared before the Council and <br /> reported that they are not aware of any problems. It was noted that the <br /> Center has very limited hours, approximately 14 hours per week. When <br /> opened, there may be two or three cars at the Center. Most of the clientele <br /> arrives via public transportation or are dropped off. <br />Blesener noted that the Sheriff's Department has indicated that there have <br />been no calls at the Center. It was the consensus of Che Council that the <br />one-year review was a satisfactory one. <br />STORM WATER Blesener opened the Public Hearing to review the City's Storm Water <br />POLLUTION Pollution Prevention Program and discuss Che City's progress in meeting <br />PREVENTION the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) <br />PROGRAM requirements. <br />The Public Works Superintendent reviewed his report dated June 23, 2006 <br />relative the Storm Water Prevention Program as well as its proposed 2006 <br />16 <br />
