.CALI, Q43 <br />811.070. INCONSISTENCIES WITH OTHER ORDINANCES. Whenever any <br />provisions of this ordinance are inconsistent with the provisions of other <br />parts of the Little Canda Code, such as Section 1202.010 governing curfew <br />hours, the provisions herein shall supersede such other inconsistent <br />provisions. <br />811.080. PENALTIES. Every person convicted of a violation of this <br />ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars <br />($300.00) or by imprisonment for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, <br />or both, and in either case the costs of prosecution may be added. <br />(Source: Ord. 137) <br />812. LICENSING OF TREE REMOVAL CONTRACTORS. <br />812.0 ,1 LICENSE REQUIRED. No person shall fell, Lt, trim, or <br />remove any tree or hire within the City, the branches of whir4h are two or <br />more inches thick at the point of severance, without a licens. <br />812.020. APP :.,CATION. Applications for such license shall be filed <br />with the City Clerk.', The application shall contain / he name and address of <br />the applicant; whethe the applicant is an indiy`3dual, partnership or <br />corporation; and the mak:., style and number of trucks or other vehicles to be <br />used by the applicant in the business of tree' trimming or hauling. In addition, a policy <br />of insurance required by thisiapter shall „ -be attached to said application. <br />812.030. LICENSE FEE. Each /1icene shall file with the City Clerk an <br />insurance policy issued by an i:Asurance” ompany authorized to do business in <br />the State of Minnesota. Said pdiicy shall insure the licensee in the sum of <br />at least Twenty Five Thousane Dollars 025,6'40.00) against liability imposed <br />by law on account of bodily /injury or death of ' any person or persons not <br />covered by Workmen's Compen ation Law, and in the"�$um of at least Ten Thousand <br />Dollars ($10,000.00) against liability imposed by 13th on account of damage to <br />or destruction of property, in connection with the filing, cutting, trimming <br />or hauling of trees for, ire. The policy shall be endob ed to provide that it <br />may not be cancelled by the carrier except upon a ten (10 day written notice <br />to the City Clerk. 1 n the event such insurance is so ancelled and the <br />licensee shall fail replace the insurance with a substi to policy, his <br />license shall be . ` tomatically suspended until proof of such insurance shall <br />be provided to the/City Clerk. <br />
