MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 22, 2006 <br />Keis asked if it is determined that the temporary position should become a <br />regular position, if the intent would be to move Mallory into that position <br />without advertising. The Director indicated that it was his intention to <br />bring back a separate recommendation on that position near the end of the <br />six month timeframe. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-3-87 -APPROVING CITY STAFF'S <br />RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO STAFFING ISSUES AS <br />OUTLINED IN THE PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR'S <br />REPORT DATED MARCH 22, 2006 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2006 STREET The City Administrator reviewed the Public Works Superintendent's <br />SWEEPING report dated March 21, 2006 recommending the low quote received from <br />Pearson Bros. For spring street sweeping be awarded at this time. That <br />quote is for $209 per hour with the total number of hours estimated at <br />between 90 and 120. It is anticipated that sweeping will start between <br />Monday, March 27`x' and Monday, April 3`~. <br />The Administrator pointed out that Che early sweeping will minimize the <br />amount of sand that will be washed into the City's storm sewer system. <br />Should it snow after sweeping occurs, the Public Works Department wiP <br />salt the streets, and not sand. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-3-82 -APPROVING THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE PUBLIC WORK5 <br />SUPERINTENDENT AND AWARDING THE LOW QUOTE OF <br />PEARSON BROS. FOR 2006 SPRING STREET SWEEPING AS <br />OUTLINED IN HIS REPORT DATED MARCH 21, 2006 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAB, LLC- The City Administrator reported that Dick Biagini is in the process <br />RETINANCING of refinancing his buildings on Country Drive reducing the amount <br />AND of equity that he has in his buildings.
