Folz & Associates 14791 - 60th Street North Stillwater, Minnesota 55082 I wish to thank all of you very much for your patience, your attention and your evident concern over my problem as discussed at your last Wednesday night meeting. The only thing you could have arranged better were the heat and the humidity. I was most pleased at the suggestion that we might use the quota for the excavation at the new bridge into Kohlman Lake. You also suggested that if this did not work out, there might be other similar situations available now or later. It made me realize that you were interested in my problem and would help work it out. If we all work together, I am sure we can satisfy all parties concerned, and I had the feeling you would do just that. I feel that I have contributed so much to the entire area that my small request was not too much to ask. Of course, it is difficult for me to see why the circumstances do not warrant an exception. In my experience in community work there were always excep- tions being made and machinery was available to make these exceptions. We only had to have good solid reasons for them. Surely, if you will read my recent letter (which I have just noticed is not dated), you will be able to arrive at solid facts that warrant an exception in my case. However, we left the meeting with such a comforting feeling that you would seriously work with us to accomplish the end result that I do not think I need say more. Thank you again.
