EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA,MINNESOTA SEPTEMBER -8 -1980 Purusant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada was held on the,8th day of Septe^ber,1980, at 7:30 O'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at, 515 Little Canada Road, fn said City. The following members were present. Mayor, Mr. Raymond Hanson. Council Members, Messrs: Robert De Bace, Michael Fahey,Roy Nadeau Jr. and Mrs Beverly Scalzy. Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 80- 9 -338- A RESOLUTION ASSESSING PARCEL 53- 03700 - 230 -02 IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 12,921.00 IMP. 79 -1- Payne Ave AUD -1886 D/P -1886 WHEREAS: Mr. Deane Paisley owner of parce1,53- 03700 - 230- 02,appeared before the Council and objected to the proposed assessment of,$ 15,035.48 , for improvement 79 -1- Payne Ave. AND WHEREAS: Mr. Paisley felt that his property should be assessed for the equivalent of two 75 foot lots as that is the benefit to the property from the improvement on Payne Ave. AND WHEREAS: Mr. Paisley also stated that 40 ft of the property was acquired separtely from the remaining 142 ft of the property and is adjacent to the NSP power lines and does not derive any benefit from the improvement of Payne Ave. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA. That the Council hereby assesses the 182 ft of Parcel 53- 03700 - 230 -02 in the amount of $ 12,921.00 for Imp. 79 -1- Water 150 ft = $ 2,235.00 Sewer 150 ft r $ 2,782.50 Road 150 ft = $ 7,003.50 Water Unit -2- $ 500.00 Sewer Unit -2- $ 400.00 $ 12,921.00 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes -5- , Nadeau,Fahey,De Bace, Scalze and Hanson. Nayes -0 -, Resolution declared adopted.
