MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 11, 1981 <br />'ending <br />he Agenda <br />To Hear <br />Items From <br />The Floor <br />Paisley <br />Assessment <br />via <br />Council suggested that the Guzik's could bring in a petition signed by <br />the neighbors stating that they did not object as long as the Guzik's <br />were not opposed to water on Schletty Drive and would pay their fair <br />assessments at that time. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that he was opposed since the Council had previously <br />refused another request of this nature. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2 -67 - TABLING ACTION ON THE GUZIK REQUEST <br />TO HOOK UP TO CITY WATER ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD TO GIVE THEM <br />THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING IN A PETITION FROM THEIR NEIGHBORS <br />STATING THAT THE NEIGHBORS DO NOT OBJECT TO THEIR HOOKING <br />UP TO WATER ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD AND AT THE TIME A WATERMAIN <br />IMPROVEMENT GOES IN ON SCHLETTY DRIVE, THEY WILL NOT BE <br />OPPOSED TO THE IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Nardini, Scalze, Fahey, Hanson. <br />Nayes (1) Forsberg. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Pages 40 and 41. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2 -68 - AMENDING THE AGENDA TO HEAR <br />ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 41. <br />Mr. Dean Paisley of 3078 North Payne Avenue appeared before the Council. <br />Mr. Paisley stated that he received his tax statement and he cannot figure <br />out how the assessment figure was arrived at. Mr. Paisley states that he <br />is about $450 off. <br />The Engineer stated that 3450 sounds like a unit charge. <br />Mr. Paisley stated that he does have two units. <br />The Engineer stated that Mr. Paisley should only be paying for one unit, <br />and the other one would be paid for at the time a second house is built. <br />Mayor Hanson asked the Engineer and Clerk to check into Mr. Paisley's <br />assessment. <br />(> <br />
